This Got Out of Hand

Welcome to Episode 50!  This episode sounds a little different in sound quality than what you're used to because we brought a BUNCH of people on the show to hang out with us!  So....we had to record it differently.  Just a little heads up why the quality of sound is a little lower than the normal Twizzcast standard :)

Things only started getting out of hand when Monkfone got on.  It was expected.  He's a little chatterbox........Full of stories........Bless his little heart.

This week we started off with our week in gaming!  Hota is finally plugged back into life now that his computer is fixed, Reb is still draining Kul Tiras for every last copper and Twizz see's the light.....er....Flash of Light rather as he talks about leveling his holy priest!

We are happy to be the podcast of BlizzPro.com as well as their newest affiliate SteelSeries!  So to kick off the celebration we started giving some stuff away :)

Diablo 3 - Happy Birthday!  Diablo 3 turned 1 year old on May 15th and we were excited to be a part of the celebration!  We also discuss how patch 1.0.8 deployed with a glitch, how Blizzard fixed it and how classy it all ended!

Starcraft 2 - Evil Geniuses loses a member due to a bad attitude and the leaderboards are up right HERE!

Hearthstone - We talk about the Fireside Duels!  AWESOME Twitch.tv coverage and explinations of how Hearthstone is coming along and how we feel about the progression!  All the info covered right HERE!

Our e-mail section had a writer looking for some tips on how to make some cash on a new server! Episode 48 - A Blizzard Crash Course

This week is our first week covering ALL THINGS Blizzard and it was AWESOME!  Hota's computer took a huge poo all over his desk and he was not able to join us for our first big episode so we were fortunate to have JR Cook the lead editor of Blizzplanet come back and hang with us the entire episode!

Starting the show, we cover our week in gaming and how both Twizz and Reb have a LOT to learn in the way of Starcraft.

We are proud to announce that the entire Blizzplanet team is going to Blizzcon!  We certainly hope to see you there so make sure you're looking for the Blizzplanet shirts and say hello!

Following our week in gaming we cover a large percentage of the Developer Q & A that Blizzard had done exactly 30 minutes before we started recording so everything was still fresh in our minds!

After the Q & A we discussed more blue post news such as th xp nerf from 86-90, the drop in lesser charms of good fortune, how AND why Blizzard is introducing the "Bad Robot" pet in 5.3 and lastly how the Shaman/Druid named "Fs" got his world first back.  See people, we're talking a LOT of WoW.

We give everyone who is listening to us that is WoW only a crash course on all the other games we're going to be diving more in depth with in the coming episodes!  LOTS of really exciting stuff that we didn't realize was out there!  So....we again, we go game by game and bring you up to speed on some of the history and current news that surrounds each game.

Shoutcraft: ShoutCraft is to helping build the North America tournament scene since a lot of American players are getting hosed with the WCS and Koreans being allowed to play. It's an American (north and south) league only and will be played through the month of May with a $10,000 prize pool he is fronting himself. It'll be entertaining so have that on your radar for the month of May. 

Twizz covers Diablo 3 and the 1.0.8 patch that's on the PTR at the moment.  We also talk about Chris Metzens appearance with Sony to release the new about Diablo 3 being on the Playstation!  

Curious what "Blizzard All Stars" is?  Been hearing a little more about that lately?  Reb takes command and tells us all about what it is, what to expect and what it's compared to.

JR takes us through a little bit more hearthstone with the latest hearstone video starring Leroy Jenkins being right HERE.

Lastly we talk about "Titan" and what we know so far.  There was actually a little bit more info leaked about it than Twizz had known about.  Definitely worth a listen.

The Merge

Episode 47 starts off with us talking about the most recent announcement.....our merge with Blizzplanet.  We discuss how the show is going to change, what we're going to add, and the things we are MOST excited to cover with adding more games to our discussion and lineup!

We also welcome as a guest host Joboo!  He's sent in numerous voicemails in the past and we figured with the closing of our 100% WoW chapter, he'd be a great fit.

Angry Orc is on vacation this week so there is no Ask Angry Orc segment.  We wish him a happy vacation as he is climbing mountains and punting gnomes off the top.

In our Blue Post News segment we discuss the new things coming with 5.3 and the lore that's related around it......actually.....Hota and Reb went into a LOT of lore stuff.....during the video cast Twizz stuck pens in his nose for the people watching at home.....it was glorious.

An Interview with Blizzplanet!

This week we carry the torch forward with another AWESOME episode!  

The week basically boils down to the good, the bad and the ugly.  The good, Reb is rich.  The bad, Hota is flexing his pally tanking muscles quite a bit.  The ugly, Twizz doesn't know the difference between teleport and portal apparently.

We move onto an AWESOME interview with JR Cook (Eldorian) of Blizzplanet!  JR takes time out of his busy schedule with this amazing fansite to give us a more in depth look at how a major fansite like Blizzplanet works and the time and energy it takes to make it as successful as it has become.  He also lets us in on a  little bit of his history with other fan sites that he has worked on.  Trust us, this is some interesting stuff that you're not going to want to miss!!!!

Angry Orc is back with more hilarity and the downward spiral that is......Ask Angry Orc.
